The Maui Film Festival returns from June 15 to 19, 2016 for an unforgettable week of film screenings and dining in Wailea.

A couple of its most noteworthy events include the Celestial Cinema, an outdoor amphitheater-like venue at the Wailea Gold & Emerald Golf Course, and the Taste of Wailea, where the top chefs of Wailea’s famed resorts gather for a night of gourmet food and wine.

The island’s most prominent celebration of film is also a big draw for Hollywood stars—past years have welcomed talent like Zac Efron, Colin Farrell, Angela Bassett and Claire Danes.

The Maui Film Festival has a few exciting developments this year including a recently announced sneak peek of its film lineup and extending a trailblazing honor to “Creed” actor Michael B. Jordan with the Rainmaker Award on June 16.

Jordan will also be honored alongside Viola Davis and Bryan Cranson for the Navigator Awards this year.
