After two years of virtual concerts, the Honolulu Zoo Society’s Wildest Show is back this summer in Waikīkī.

These popular outdoor concerts on the lawn at the Honolulu Zoo are held on Wednesday evenings and feature live local entertainment from Hawaiʻi’s top leading musicians.

The five-week series takes place every Wednesday evening from June 29 to July 27. This year’s performance line-up includes:

  • Wednesday, June 29: Maunalua
  • Wednesday, July 6: Robi Kahakalau
  • Wednesday, July 13: Pure Heart
  • Wednesday, July 20: Mākaha Sons
  • Wednesday, July 27: Amy Hānaiali’i

In addition to live entertainment, guests will also enjoy fun pre-concert family activities such as Conservation Stationsanimal-themed drawing contests for keiki and animal trivia. Proceeds from this year’s concert series will support the construction of a new exhibit at the Honolulu Zoo for the threatened Hawaiian hawk (io), which are only found on the island of Hawai‘i.

Admission is $10 for Honolulu Zoo Society members, $15 for non-members, and $5 for children ages 3 to 12 years old; children 2 and under are free. Guests may enter at 4:30 p.m. to enjoy the pre-show activities. Performances are from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Food and beverage will be available for purchase.
