Good people supporting good causes and doing good in the community. That’s what philanthropy is all about, and it’s been part of the Hawaii culture for generations.

The word philanthropist often conjures images of Rockefeller, Carnegie, Gates or Omidyar—people of deep means who invest heavily in the causes they’re passionate about. But it’s more than that, and it’s each of us.
