Tucked away in the quiet neighborhood of Haliʻimaile, you can find Maui Gold Pineapple growing some of the Islands’ sweetest pineapples.

For more than 50 years, Maui Gold has been cultivating pineapples on the slopes of Haleakalā. Grown in the island’s nutrient-rich soil, each pineapple is hand-harvested at peak ripeness, making for extremely flavorful fruit.

This March, Maui Gold debuted its new Farm & Feast Experience—a dream adventure for pineapple lovers. The venture begins with a guided tour through a working pineapple farm. Throughout the tour, guests will learn about the history of pineapple production on the island, while sampling the farm’s famous fruit. Each guest will also receive a complimentary pineapple—which is pre-approved for out-of-state transportation.

This Upcountry restaurant is a local treasure known for its farm-to-table cuisine, highlighting the island’s farmers and producers. It’s a collaboration that couldn’t be sweeter.

Guests will discover Maui’s exciting flavors in the curated dinner menu, from fresh seafood and meats to island-inspired sides and delectable desserts.

The culinary journey begins with fully bao buns stuff with savory braised pork belly, followed by a refreshing salad. For an entrée, guests can choose from a roasted chicken; coconut curry; Korean barbecue braised short ribs; or a macadamia nut crusted mahimahi. Be sure to save room for dessert, which ends with the popular pineapple upside-down cake.

The tour is offered on Tuesdays and Fridays in March. The three-and-a-half-hour experience is priced at $195 for guests ages 13 and older. For guests ages 3-12, the experience is $155. For more information and to make reservations, visit mauipineappletour.com.
