Relax on the sandy stretch of Kailua Beach to watch the annual fireworks show. The popular fireworks exhibition will begin at 8 p.m. with professional pyrotechnics set off from a barge moored in Hilo Bay. The Hawai‘i County Band will present a live accompaniment to the fireworks with a performance that begins at 7 p.m. at the Mo‘oheau Park bandstand. For those not near the bandstand, the fireworks display will be synchronized to patriotic music aired on KWXX.

Kauai Hospice hosts the 31st annual 4th of July Concert in the Sky Fundraiser at Vidinha Stadium in Līhuʻe. Starting at 3:30 with booths and entertainment, the evening hours produce Kauai’s largest fireworks show—a spectacular 3D display choreographed to a musical soundtrack created by Kauaʻi Hospice. This year’s ongoing entertainment features Kahalu Ka Lei Mokihana O Leina ‘Ala, Wehiwilei Kalana Ku, Kala e Parish Hammah House Band, and the U.S Air Force Band of the Pacific.
