After initially launching limited wi-fi services in select terminals in December 2017, the Daniel K. Inouye International Airport will now allow travelers to access unlimited free wi-fi from all areas of the airport, including new coverage in Terminals 1 and 2. Users can connect to Boingo Wireless and, after watching an ad, will be able to use the complimentary wireless services. The airport, which is making a push to increase their digital capability, is also working on increased cellular connectivity, signal strength and mobile coverage.

Additionally, airports such as Kahului Airport, Lihue Airport, Hilo International Airport and the Ellison Onizuka Kona International Airport at Keahole will also be seeing wi-fi and cellular upgrades, with the Hawaii Department of Transportation confirming that wi-fi services will be installed at these locations later in 2018.
