Sun-kissed beaches, beach-y boutiques, food trucks and farm stands on the side of the highway.

Oʻahu’s North Shore has long been a visitor favorite—and for good reason. There’s so much to see, do, eat and experience here, and exploring it is best done on a guided tour of the area’s top spots with an experienced local company.

Roberts Hawaiʻi, a leading tour service business with decades of experience, offers two fully featured country tour experiences that will take visitors on a memorable tour of the North Shore, with experienced guides that educate and entertain tourgoers the entire way.

If you’re a pineapple lover—and who isn’t?—then look no further than Roberts Hawaiʻi’s exclusive North Shore Dole Pineapple Farm Tour. A look into one of Hawaiʻi’s most prolific crops, tourgoers can enjoy an exclusive excursion into Dole Pineapple’s farming operations and packing process. After a quick coffee sampling and snack at nearby Greenworld Coffee Farm, visitors will be brought onto working pineapple fields. Here, you can watch Dole Pineapple Farm employees pick and harvest pineapples using a variety of methods—from handpicking to specialized machinery—before checking out the processing and packaging side of the operation. Throughout your time at this working farm, you’ll learn of the pineapple’s rich history here in the Islands and how it became such a popular piece of produce both locally as well as nationally.

After your enriching time at Dole Pineapple Fields, Roberts Hawaiʻi will whisk you away to a secluded North Shore beach. A picnic lunch will be provided, which will fuel you for a stroll through the beach town of Haleʻiwa. Its sand-dusted streets and colorful storefronts will charm you with its bohemian allure—and there are more than enough boutiques, surf shops and general stores in the small community to visit during your stop here. You can continue to support local farms as Roberts Hawaiʻi’s final stops include a visit to a macadamia nut store—which sources its produce from a farm right under the lush slopes of Mount Kaʻala—before the tour ends at the iconic King Kamehameha Statue in Downtown Honolulu.

If you’re more of an adventure seeker, Roberts Hawaiʻi’s North Shore Adventure Tour will get your blood pumping. After a quick stop at Greenworld Coffee Farm, you will head to YMCA Camp Erdman’s exclusive North Shore hiking grounds and trails. An experienced cultural guide will lead you through the local campground’s pristine property while educating visitors about the culture and history of Kaʻena Point, a remote and protected area situated at the westernmost part of Oʻahu. Guests will also have an opportunity to remove invasive plants and mālama (care for) the land, which is part of the YMCA’s reforestation and sustainability initiatives.

Visiting an exclusive secret beach at Kaʻena Point is the next stop on this adventure, where you’ll enjoy a filling picnic lunch. Because the area is so remote, you may even see a wild monk seal or honu (sea turtle) lounging in the sand—and if you do, be sure to stay at least 10 feet away. Of course, no adventure to the North Shore would be complete without a stop in Haleʻiwa; however, for an additional fee, visitors can continue the adventure with a kayak or SUP tour up the Anahulu River, a calm waterway that runs through Haleʻiwa. (Lifeguards will also be present during the Anahulu River tour). Like everything else on this tour, it will make for an unforgettable adventure.
