Zippy’s is Coming to Las Vegas
The new Las Vegas Zippy's location is slated to be the first opened outside of Hawaii.
Zippy’s is coming to the mainland, this is not a drill! The well-known and dearly loved Hawaii-based restaurant chain, which is famous for its Zippy’s chili and an extensive menu of local comfort foods—we’re talking loco moco, saimin and chicken katsu—has announced that it has purchased vacant land in southwest Las Vegas.
“The location in southwest Las Vegas is ideal for Zippy’s Restaurants,” says CEO Jason Higa. “This area is burgeoning with residential housing. In addition, the location near the 215 Beltway will provide an efficient transportation hub for our central production facility to support the additional Zippy’s stores to open in other parts of Las Vegas.”

This location will be the first Zippy’s to open outside of Hawaii, and it’s looking to make a splash by participating in the Hawaii-centric Pure Aloha Festival in Las Vegas, which occurs over Easter weekend.
Although an exact timeline has yet to be released, Zippy’s Restaurants is planning to build a 7,000 square foot restaurant, take-out are and bakery, as well as a 12,000 square foot kitchen and bakery to support additional expansion in the Las Vegas area.
