Allegiant expanding air service to Hawaii with one-way fares as low as $159

Allegiant Air, a Nevada-based airline owned by Allegiant Travel Company, announced today that in November it will start providing nonstop air service from the mainland to Maui. Also, it will add four cities in Western states to its mainland-Oahu air service lineup.

The carrier is now offering introductory fares as low as $199 one-way, including taxes and fees, from Maui’s Kahului Airport to Bellingham, Wash., beginning on Nov. 14.
 
Introductory fares, including taxes and fees, are available from Honolulu International Airport to: Bellingham, Wash, beginning on Nov. 15, with fares as low as $159 each way; Eugene, Ore., beginning on Nov. 17, with fares as low as $179 each way; Santa Maria, Calif., beginning on Nov. 17 with fares as low as $199 each way; and Stockton, Calif., beginning on Nov. 18 with fares as low as $199 each way.

Last month, the carrier announced that it will begin air service to Honolulu from Las Vegas and Fresno, Calif., starting in late June.Hawaii_Maui_Oahu_Honolulu_Kahului_airfare

In a news release issued by the company, Andrew C. Levy, Allegiant Travel Company’s president, said: “We are pleased to expand our presence in the Islands with nonstop service to Maui and additional nonstop service to Honolulu from four more of our existing markets.” He added, “This is especially exciting because it comes shortly after announcing initial service to Hawaii from Las Vegas and Fresno. “
