Alaska Airlines Bay Area-Kona one-way airfare deals as low as $169

If you reside near the San Francisco Bay Area or don’t mind connecting from there for a great price on fall-winter flight to Kailua-Kona on the Big Island of Hawaii, here’s an airfare deal we just found online.

Alaska Airlines is offering one–way Kona-Oakland and Kona-San Jose flights for as low as $169, for travel now through February 16, 2011.

You’ll have to move fast on the deal, though. Tickets for flights must be purchased by Nov. 12, 2010. Uh-huh, next Friday.

Seats for the deal are limited, and some blackout dates apply for Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s week travel. But if you can quickly pencil in some vacation time on the Big Island for this year or early 2011, you could be on a South Kohala coast beach before the mainland winter chill sets in.
