Fans of “Dog the Bounty Hunter” Co-Star Beth Chapman Can Attend a Public Vigil in Waikiki This Saturday
Those wishing to say “aloha oe” to Mrs. Chapman can bring flowers and well-wishes to Fort DeRussey Beach.

Beth Chapman, who was Duane “Dog” Chapman’s other half and co-star in the popular reality TV show “Dog the Bounty Hunter” and its spin-off series “Dog and Beth: On the Hunt,” passed away Wednesday, June 26 at The Queen’s Medical Center in Honolulu after a battle with throat cancer. She was 51 years old.
This Saturday, June 29 at 2 p.m., she will be honored at an oceanfront vigil in Waikiki. The gathering will take place at Fort DeRussy Beach, where Beth will be honored with a Hawaiian oli (chant), followed by a paddle out with family and friends.
Attendees are asked to bring “ocean-friendly loose flowers,” but please do not bring lei, because the strings can be harmful to ocean life. On social media, the official hashtag is #alohaoemrsdog.
The family is also planning a memorial service in Colorado, where Beth was born.
