The popular fireworks exhibition will begin at 8 p.m. with professional pyrotechnics set off from a barge moored in Hilo Bay. The Hawai‘i County Band will present a live accompaniment to the fireworks with a performance that begins at 7 p.m. at the Mo‘oheau Park bandstand. Kauai Hospice hosts the 31st annual 4th of July Concert in the Sky Fundraiser at Vidinha Stadium in Līhuʻe. Starting at 3:30 with booths and entertainment, the evening hours produce Kauai’s largest fireworks show—a spectacular 3D display choreographed to a musical soundtrack created by Kauaʻi Hospice. This year’s ongoing entertainment features Kahalu Ka Lei Mokihana O Leina ‘Ala, Wehiwilei Kalana Ku, Kala e Parish Hammah House Band, and the U.S Air Force Band of the Pacific.
