Have Aloha Will Travel EP126: Emily and Cat’s Hilo Adventure
We talk about spending two days in Hilo on Hawaiʻi Island—and everything we ate.

We’re back in Hilo—this time with digital media specialist Emily Smith.
This sleepy town on Hawaiʻi Island is one of our favorites. (We did an entire podcast about it back in EP89.) This time we visit Honomū Goat Dairy—and play with baby goats—and grab mochi from Two Ladies Kitchen. We also dined at the award-winning Moon and Turtle, run by Hilo-born chef Mark Pomaski.

We also visited two waterfalls—ʻAkaka Falls and Rainbow Falls—walked around the Hilo Farmers Market and ate lunch at Ken’s House of Pancakes, a local favorite. (Look for way more content on our Instagram page.)
Like last time, we stayed at the SCP Hilo, a conveniently located hotel within walking distance from Hilo Town with eco-friendly rooms and awesome guest service. (If it looks familiar, it’s because this is the old Hilo Seaside Hotel.)

We hope our podcast inspires you to plan a trip to Hilo!
